Lemonhaus
Racing

Built on craft, discipline, and joy in competition. An Oregon-based Spec Miata team competing across the 2026 SCCA Oregon Region season.

About the Team

The Story

Lemonhaus Racing embraces imperfection — believing success can be achieved not only through resources, but through shared effort, knowledge, and determination.

Founded in 2024 by Linden Cho, the team was created to challenge traditional expectations in motorsports. Lemonhaus is rooted in learning through repetition, doing things thoughtfully, and finding joy in the process rather than shortcuts or spectacle.

The name draws inspiration from Le Mans — a symbol of endurance and long-term commitment — paired with Linden's long-standing affection for lemons. Together with the German translation "House of Lemons," the name reflects a mindset shaped by experience and family values: make the most of what you have, support the people around you, and keep moving forward.

The Team

Linden Cho

Founder & Driver · #72

Linden approaches motorsports with the same mindset he brings to building — hands-on, resourceful, and committed to learning through repetition. With a background in sheet metal fabrication and CNC laser operation, he values preparation, precision, and doing the work the right way.

In just his second year of racing, Linden has established himself as a consistent and determined competitor, earning a top-ten championship finish in one of the most demanding amateur racing classes. His growth reflects persistence rather than shortcuts, and progress built over time.

Christian Cho

Driver · #59

Christian approaches motorsports through people, storytelling, and lived experience. His background as a motorsports photographer shaped how he understands racing — not just as competition, but as moments, emotion, and connection. Years spent behind the lens taught him how stories are built on track, and why they matter beyond the results sheet.

Working alongside Linden, Christian transitioned from documenting competition to stepping fully into it. As a Spec Miata driver, he focuses on development, consistency, and learning through seat time — helping ensure the team is not only competing, but sharing its journey through visibility, community, and an honest view of the work.

The Class

Spec Miata

Spec Miata is one of the most competitive and accessible forms of road racing in North America. Built around near-identical Mazda Miatas from the 1990–2005 model years, the class removes performance advantages and places the focus where it belongs — on the driver.

With tightly regulated rules and limited modifications, success in Spec Miata is earned through preparation, racecraft, consistency, and decision-making under pressure. Races are close, margins are small, and positions are decided by discipline — not horsepower.
